During the consultation, the doctor will conduct an examination, take an X-ray, and make an individual treatment plan along with a cost estimate and the next treatment stages. If you will need a consultation with specialist such as periodontologist, surgeon or orthodontist your attending doctor will refer you for such an appointment.
The treatment plan includes all the treatments offered per stay, with a total fee for each stage.
Dental treatment usually requires you to make phase visits lasting between 3 to 12 days in Gdańsk. All the treatments will take place at Dental Sense Medicover. We have two locations, one at Myśliwska 33A Street, and the second one at Chmielna 70/3 Street, Old Town. Our driver will transport you between clinics during your appointments.
During your free time, you will have the chance to explore Gdańsk, which offers plenty of attractions. We recommend getting the Tourist Card. It will give you access to over 20 free tourist attractions and approximately 30 different discounts at cultural sites, entertainment venues, and partner restaurants. At the heart of the city lies the Motława River, whose waters flow through the historic Old Town, offering enchanting views of centuries-old buildings, charming cafes, restaurants, and iconic landmarks. Gdańsk is part of a large metropolitan area called Tricity, consisting of Gdańsk, Sopot, and Gdynia.

About Gdańsk
Most of the landmarks in Gdańsk are located near the Old Town, around Długa Street, streets parallel to it, and along the harbor Długie Pobrzeże. The best place to start the tour would be the Brama Wyżynna (Upper Gate). Near the Brama Wyżynna we can reach the largest shopping gallery in Europe named Forum. Interestingly, recently a water feature has been opened there, housing a restaurant and relaxation area. After crossing the Brama Wyżynna, you will find the Katownia (Torture Chamber), which houses an Amber Museum.
Nearby, on Długi Targ (Long Market), you will find the symbol of Gdańsk – the Neptune Fountain. Behind it lies the stunning Dwór Artusa (Artus Court) and the Złota Kamieniczka (The Golden House). At the end of Długi Targ, you will see Zielona Brama (The Green Gate). Turning left, there will be the Długie Pobrzeże, which will lead us to the historic Crane. On the opposite bank of the Motława River, we will see the ship Sołdek, which is currently recognized as a museum open for tourists to visit.
And of course – Brama Mariacka (St. Mary’s Gate) which reveals a street of the same name, considered one of the most beautiful in Europe, leading to Poland’s largest church, Bazylika Mariacka (St. Mary’s Basilica).
Not far from the old town, we can visit the Centrum Solidarności (Solidarity Center). Modern architectural building dedicated to commemorating Poland’s struggle for freedom and democracy, particularly the Solidarity movement that emerged from Gdańsk’s shipyards.
We also recommend you visit a place slightly further away from the heart of Gdańsk. That is the historic Westerplatte. This iconic peninsula, nestled at the mouth of the Vistula River, is renowned as the site of the first battle of World War II. With its peaceful coastal setting and poignant historical significance, Westerplatte offers visitors a unique opportunity to reflect on the bravery and resilience of those who defended against the odds.
The bustling Monte Cassino pedestrian street, also known as ul. Bohaterów Monte Cassino, serves as the heart of Sopot. Flanked by an array of 19th and 20th-century buildings, some residential while others housing pubs and restaurants, this iconic street exudes historical charm. For a deeper exploration of the city’s character, wander through the quaint side streets of Monte Cassino, where you will encounter a plethora of art nouveau architecture, picturesque parks, and lush gardens. Towards the end of Monte Cassino, lies the Molo, boasting the title of Europe’s longest wooden pier.
Meanwhile, Gdynia awaits as a bustling port city, where ships come and go, painting a vivid picture of maritime life. You can explore the extensive promenade that hugs the coastline, offering stunning vistas of the sea and a perfect setting for leisurely walks. Feel the energy of the harbor as ships of all shapes and sizes navigate the bustling waters, embodying Gdynia’s rich maritime heritage, which include, among others, historical ships.
The climate in Tricity, typically falls under the category of a humid continental climate. This means that the region experiences warm summers and cold winters. However, due to its coastal location along the Baltic Sea, Tricity tends to have milder temperatures compared to inland areas. Summers are generally pleasant, with temperatures ranging from mild to warm, often accompanied by occasional rainfall. Winters can be cold, with temperatures frequently dropping below freezing, and snowfall is common.
Gdańsk offers a diverse array of attractions that cater to varied interests, ranging from maritime adventures to cultural pursuits and outdoor activities. You can take a boat ride along the Motława River for a lovely view of Gdańsk’s old-timey waterfront. You will pass old buildings, cafes by the water, and famous spots like the Medieval Crane. It’s a terrific way to see the Old Town from a different angle.
Gdańsk is also a happening place for theater lovers. You can catch shows at spots like the Wybrzeże Theatre and the Shakespeare Theatre.
If you’re up for some beach fun, head to Stogi Beach or Brzeźno Beach. Stogi Beach has large, wide beaches and a peaceful atmosphere. Brzeźno Beach is lively with a fun boardwalk and lots of water sports like windsurfing and beach volleyball.
Animal lovers shouldn’t miss the Gdańsk Zoo. It’s got creatures from all over, like lions, monkeys, and giraffes. It’s a fun place to explore, especially if you are interested in wildlife.
For perfect views of Gdańsk and beyond, check out the Olivia Star viewpoint on the 32nd floor of the Olivia Star skyscraper. You can see the whole city, the sea, and the stunning Pomeranian countryside from way up high.
Moreover, you can also have a delicious lunch or dinner in the restaurant located on the view floor.
And if you are up for some excitement, jump on the Ferris Wheel! It gives you a thrilling ride and fantastic views of the city’s sights, including its historic buildings and green parks.
So, in summary, what is worth trying from Gdańsk’s gastronomy?
It’s definitely worth tasting „pierogi”. These traditional Polish dumplings are a must-try in Gdańsk. Whether filled with savory ingredients like potato and cheese, sauerkraut and mushrooms, or meat, pierogi are a beloved food that captures the essence of Polish cuisine. In Gdansk you will find the restaurant „Mandu”, which offers a menu rich in all kinds of pierogi’s.
We mustn’t forget about the Baltic seafood as well, because with its coastal location, Gdańsk is renowned for its fresh and flavorful seafood.
We recommend Chleb i Wino (The Bread and Wine) restaurant, which is located on Wyspa Spichrzów, with an atmospheric view of the Motława River. Located in the heart of Gdansk. You will eat delicious regional dishes and drink excellent wine. The restaurant also offers the opportunity to purchase handmade bread.
It’s worth mentioning again about the restaurant on the border of Gdańsk and Sopot, Olivia Star, because this skyscraper dedicates two restaurants to its guests, one on the 32nd floor and the other on the 33rd. We will eat delicious food there while having amazing scenery of the Gdansk skyline around us. For classical music lovers, we can listen to melodies played live there during dinners.
Gdańsk’s nightlife pulses with energy and excitement, offering a diverse array of entertainment options to suit every taste and preference. As the sun sets over the city’s historic skyline, Gdańsk transforms into a vibrant hub of activity, with bustling bars, clubs, and cultural venues inviting locals and visitors alike to experience the city’s dynamic after-dark scene.
One of the highlights of Gdańsk’s nightlife is its thriving bar culture, with cozy pubs, trendy cocktail lounges, and lively beer gardens lining the city’s streets. Whether you are sipping on craft beers at a traditional Piwnica (Beer Cellar) or enjoying handcrafted cocktails with a view of the waterfront, Gdańsk offers plenty of options for a memorable night out.
